حکومت هخامنشیان از شناخته شده ترین حکومت های تاریخ باستان است. تمدن های مصر و یونان به عنوان حکومت های معاصر هخامنشیان همواره با یکدیگر در ارتباط بوده اند که با ظهور قدرت هخامنشیان تغییراتی در نوع و چگونگی روابط آنها پدید می آید. با توجه به اهمیت تاثیرگذاری هخامنشیان در روابط این حکومت ها، در این پژوهش برآن هستیم تا نشان دهیم که هخامنشیان چه نقشی در روابط میان یوناو مصر باستان داشتند. سوال طرح شده در این پژوهش با روش توصیفی و تبیینی و مطالعات کتابخانه ای با بهره گیری از منابع موجود از آن دوره تاریخی، بررسی خواهد شد. نتیجه تحقیقات نشان می دهد که هخامنشیان با فتح مصر تأثیر بسیار زیادی بر روابط میان مصر و یونان گذاردند. قبل از ظهور هخامنشیان قدرت‌های مصر و یونان با یکدیگر مراودات نظامی و فرهنگی و اقتصادی داشتند و به نظر فاکتور اقتصاد و روابط تجاری مهم‌ترین نقش را در روابط آنان داشته است. هدف هخامنشیان نیز از تسلط بر مصر جلوگیری از نفوذ روزافزون دولت‌شهرهای یونانی بر مصر و هم‌چنین دسترسی آسان ایرانیان به منابع اقتصادی این سرزمین بوده است. به همین دلیل یونانیان در مدت‌زمانی که هخامنشیان در مصر حکومت می‌کردند سعی در ارتباط با مصریان برای پایان دادن بر تسلط ایرانیان بر آن منطقه داشتند. به همین دلیل نیز این دو قدرت به هنگام ضعف هخامنشیان درصدد اتحاد با یکدیگر علیه ایرانیان برآمده‌اند و در این میان یونانی ها همواره مترصد فرصتی برای یاری رساندن به مصریان داشته اند. به عبارت بهتر بعد از فتح مصر به دست ایرانیان، روابط یونان و مصر در چارچوب جغرافیای ایران قابل پیگیری است

The Achaemenid rule is one of the most well-known governments in ancient history. The civilizations of Egypt and Greece, as contemporary Achaemenid governments, have always been related to each other, and with the emergence of Achaemenid power, changes occur in the type and manner of their relations. Given the importance of the Achaemenid influence in the relations of these governments, in this study we intend to show what role the Achaemenids played in the relations between Jonah and ancient Egypt. The question posed in this research will be examined by descriptive and explanatory methods and library studies using the available resources from that historical period. The results of research show that the Achaemenids greatly influenced the relations between Egypt and Greece with the conquest of Egypt. Before the rise of the Achaemenids, the Egyptian and Greek powers had military, cultural and economic relations with each other, and according to the economic factor, trade and trade relations played the most important role in their relations. The aim of the Achaemenids in dominating Egypt was to prevent the growing influence of Greek governments and cities on Egypt, as well as the easy access of the Iranians to the economic resources of this land. For this reason, the Greeks, during the Achaemenid rule in Egypt, tried to contact the Egyptians to end the Iranian domination of the region. For this reason, when the Achaemenids were weak, the two powers sought to unite against the Iranians, and in the meantime, the Greeks always sought an opportunity to help the Egyptians. In other words, after the conquest of Egypt by the Iranians, the relations between Greece and Egypt can be traced within the geographical framework of Iran
